Judicial magistrate suspended by Gujarat High Court

The Gujarat High Court today suspended a judicial magistrate first class (JMFC) who was facing corruption charges.

JMFC R Y Dhivare was serving at the Bharuch civil court.

"Dhivare was facing corruption charges. During the inquiry we found merit in the allegations. So we have issued the order today to suspend him," said the High Court Registrar General B N Karia.

He didn't give details of corruption charges against the judge.
