National President of Jamiat Ulema- e-Hind Maulana Arshad Madni has called upon all secular parties to sink their differences and form a Bihar-type grand alliance for the upcoming Assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh.
"All secular parties need to sink their difference and join hands in the national interest to form a Bihar kind of a grand allianace for the upcoming Assembly polls in the state," Madni, who heads the important socio-religious body of Muslims, told reporters last night.
He warned that if the opposition does not get its act together then they would have no one to blame but their avarice.

Stressing that strength of India lay in its pluralism , he alleged that the Narendra Modi led government was doing its best to undo the gains of centuries of syncretic traditions imbedded in the Indian civilization.
The Maulana said demonitisation was a severe blow to the common Indian as well as the business class.
