Julia Louis-Dreyfus to produce 'Force Majeure' remake

Actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus is set to star in and produce Fox Searchlight's "Force Majeure" remake.

There have been neither directors nor other producers attached to the project, said The Hollywood Reporter.

"Force Majeure" is a Swedish drama that tells the story "of a family staying in a resort in the French Alps.

The first film, written and directed by Ruben Ostlund, won the Guldbagge Awards, the Un Certain Regard jury prize at last year's Cannes Film Festival, and was nominated for best foreign film at this year's Golden Globes.

Louis-Dreyfus currently serves as producer of HBO's comedy series "Veep", on which she also stars as Selina Meyer. She's been on the hit show since 2012 and has won three Emmys for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy category.
