July to be observed as anti-dengue month in Punjab

The number of cases of Malaria till May has been less than that during the corresponding period last year. Besides, only 9 cases of dengue has been reported till June against 51 cases in the same period last year, Health and Family Welfare Minister Madan Mohan Mittal told reporters.

No case of any other vector borne disease like Chikungunya, Japanese Encephalitis, Kala Azar and Lymphatic Filariasis has been reported, he said.
