In the 1.47 minute video titled "Beawar police rave party", the sub-inspector posted at Beawar city police station in Ajmer is seen dancing with a trainee constable in civil dress in a quarter.
"The clip was shot in June by a constable on his mobile during a get together at the quarter of another policeman, and it was uploaded by the constable on YouTube," SHO Beawar city Bhagwat Singh told PTI today.
The video was uploaded two days ago.
"There is absolutely no objectionable move or object in the video. It looks like very a normal dance, and none of them appears to be under the influence of alcohol. It seems that the video was uploaded only to defame them," he said defending both.
Sub Inspector Udai Singh said that several staffers excluding the SHO were present in the get together meeting which was organised at the quarter of a constable Jai Singh in the police station complex.
"There were a few staffers filming it. Everything was normal, and I will lodge an FIR tomorrow against the person who uploaded the video to defame me and the constable tomorrow," the SI said.
