Controversial judge of the Madras High Court Justice C S Karnan today urged Chief Justice S K Kaul to put to rest all controversies once and for all and offered to face any forum, including Parliament.

"It is because of your continuous harassment towards me, I am constrained to highlight certain ignominious, rampant and prevailing happenings at the High Court," he said in a letter to the Chief Justice.

Justice Karnan said he was prepared to face any forum including the Parliament to clear his sincere grievances that "affected the very foundation of the Madras High Court".

The Judge, who had been having a running battle with some of his colleagues, had earlier accused a brother judge of sexually assaulting an intern.

He had also lodged a complaint against the Chief Justice with the National Commission for Scheduled Castes and Tribes (under the SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities Act), on which an inquiry is pending.

Justice Karnan had also claimed that more than four or five high court judges had humiliated him on the basis of his caste.
