The 18-year-old said the film bosses asked him to act in the motion picture version of the S&M novel, reported Contactmusic.
"They actually want me to be in the movie!," Bieber said in a TV interview.
The part would be far from the the innocent image Bieber has portrayed in his pop career so far. In the book, Christian has a room full of whips, handcuffs and masks to use on submissive women.
The singer also talked about how he has decided not to talk about his love life in the public anymore. He is currently dating 20-year-old actress Selena Gomez.
"At the end of the day I'm always going to be their Justin, regardless of who I'm dating. I like to make sure my fans are comfortable," he added.
