The 'Boyfriend' singer finds it "reassuring" that he has the ability to shock his mother Pattie Mallette and father Jeremy Bieber, but has no intention of doing anything they wouldn't approve of, reported Showbizspy.
"I still obey my parents, but I don't have to. I could shock them too. If I really wanted to do something that I know they wouldn't agree with, then I could do that now. Somehow that's reassuring," he said.
However, Bieber said his loved ones need not worry, because he is not about to rush into any rash decisions.
"I've become more mature and a lot more grown up. Normally I make good, sound decisions. You don't have to worry about me. My parents trust me," he added.
