Pop sensation Justin Bieber has been sued by a former neighbour whose house was egged by him and his friends back in January 2014.

Jeff Schwartz claims in his lawsuit he and his wife suffered emotional distress because one of Bieber's bodyguards called him "little Jew boy", reported Ace Showbiz.

Jeff says the incident happened on Memorial Day weekend of 2013 when Justin was speeding in his Ferrari around their Calabasas neighbourhood.

Jeff and his friend approached the "Never Say Never" crooner to warn him because he could put his life in danger, but the singer's bodyguards came out and one of them called him "little Jew boy," and repeatedly said, "What are you going to do about it, Jew boy?"

Jeff claimed that previously Bieber, 21, also threatened to kill him after he "calmly" went over the singer's residence and "politely" requested him not to speed around the neighbourhood for the safety of the kids playing in the neighbourhood.

Bieber allegedly sent his "two large bodyguards" who asked Jeff to leave.

As he walked away from the house, Jeff says Justin then "launched into an unprovoked tirade" and charged at him in a "threatening manner." The bodyguards allegedly held him back as he repeatedly threatened to kill Jeff. Jeff added that Bieber then "maliciously spit" on his face.

One of Bieber's bodyguards came to Jeff's house to apologise for the spitting, but a couple months later the bodyguards yelled obscenities and threats at Jeff's wife and minor daughter when they met at the main gate of the neighbourhood.

The couple is seeking unspecified damages for emotional distress.

Bieber's representative hasn't commented on the issue yet.
