Jackson, 31, who portrayed the character of Bunchannon in the hit TV series, is keen for the 'Baby' hitmaker to take on the responsibility of reprising the role for a silver screen remake, reported TMZ online.
He said Bieber is the best man for the job and is even willing to train the 18-year-old in the art of lifeguarding for absolutely no cash. All he wants in return is the chance to drive Bieber's tricked-out "Batmobile" Cadillac on the weekends.
The TV drama series originally ran on US TV network NBC from 1989 to 1990, following the lives of a group of fictional Los Angeles County Lifeguards.
