Actor Justin Theroux will star alongside Emma Stone and Jonah Hill in the upcoming Netflix series, "Maniac".
The dark comedy is based on the 2014 Norwegian TV series of the same name.
The original centered on Espen, a mental patient at a psychiatric ward who escapes reality and lives in a fantasy world in his mind.
Theroux will be part of the 10-episode first season as James Mantleray, The Hollywood Reporter said.
The US adaptation landed a straight-to-series order at Netflix in March 2016 with Stone and Hill.
True Detective's Cary Fukunaga will direct, with Patrick Somerville attached to write.
"Maniac" does not have a premiere date yet.
