Singer-actor Justin Timberlake is all set to perform during the halftime of Super Bowl LII.

The 36-year-old musician took to Twitter to announce the news ahead of NBC's Sunday Night Football broadcast in a funny video in which he appeared alongside Jimmy Fallon, his longtime friend and frequent collaborator.

"I do have the time. Half the time...#PepsiHalftime #SBLII @Pepsi @NFL @JimmyFallon @FallonTonight," Timberlake wrote.

The "Can't Stop The Feeling" singer's performance comes 14 years after his controversial halftime show with Janet Jackson, in which he ripped off a portion of her costume, that partly revealed her breast.

Both Timberlake and Jackson apologised for the incident, with the former referring to it as "wardrobe malfunction".

He also performed during the 2001 edition of the Superbowl halftime when he was a part of the boy band 'N Sync, along with ex-girlfriend Britney Spears and Aerosmith.

In 2017, he appeared in the Super Bowl's advertisements with Christopher Walken.

Last year, Lady Gaga headlined the Super Bowl in an explosive performance.

The show will air on NBC on February 4 from U S Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
