Security personnel have apprehended a juvenile for allegedly stealing mobile phones of Metro commuters at busy stations.
Officials said two days ago it was reported by a woman commuter that her smartphone had been stolen while she was collecting a travel token from a vending machine on November 28 at Rithala Metro station.
Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) and Metro police personnel scanned the CCTV footage of the area and identified a young boy in suspicious circumstances after which he was put on surveillance.
