Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Babulal Marandi today vowed to give a "corruption-free and development-oriented" government if his party Jharkhand Vikash Morcha (JVM-Prajatantric) comes to power.

"Our party believes in giving stable, corruption-free and development-oriented government to put the state back on the progressive-track," Marandi said here.

Addressing party workers, he said JVM was formed in 2006 and "emerged stronger now" and would not stitch any alliance with party.

"We will contest all the 81 assembly seats and 14 Lok Sabha seats alone as we have a bitter experience allying with the Congress in the last Lok Sabha and Jharkhand Assembly elections as the Congress failed to keep its own promises," he said.

Both BJP and Congress, he alleged, had ruled the state but "failed" on all the fronts.
