Senior IAS officer Kapil Dev Tripathi has been given additional charge of Secretary, Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) for three months.
Tripathi, a 1980 batch IAS officer of Assam Meghalaya cadre, is Secretary, Department of Public Enterprises.
He was working as CVC Secretary before being appointed to his current post.
Tripathi will hold the charge of the post of Secretary, CVC for a period of three months, with effect from October one, or until further instructions, said an order issued by Department of Personnel and Training.
