K P Energy lists on BSE SME platform

Shares of K P Energy, part of K P Group listed on the BSE SME today, becoming the 125th company to debut on the platform.

The stock listed at Rs 72, against its IPO price of Rs 70 on BSE. It finally closed at Rs 70.95.

"After today's listing, K P Energy has become 125th listed company on BSE SME," the company said in a statement.

"K P Energy is being listed on BSE effective Thursday, February 25, 2016," the BSE said in a notice today.

The company came out with a public issue of 9,20,000 shares.

The price band was fixed at Rs 60-70. The issue had opened for subscription from February 15-17, 2016.
 

On the closing day, the issue was subscribed 116 per cent. It was lead managed by Aryaman Financial Services, whereas registrar to the offer was Bigshare Services Pvt Ltd.

According to the prospectus, the fund proceeds of the issue will be used for general corporate purpose and for setting up of 2.10 MW wind power project at Matalpur, Gujarat.
