In a mixed pattern of trading, prices of kabuli gram and gram plunged by up to Rs 500 per quintal at the wholesale pulses market today on fall in demand from retailers.
However, arhar and urad edges up on scattered buying support.
Traders said easing demand from retailers against ample stocks position on increased supplies from poducing belts mainly kept pressure on kabuli gram and gram prices.

Gram also eased to Rs 4,550-4,800 against last close of Rs 4,600-4,900 per quintal. Its dal local and best quality traded lower by Rs 100 each to Rs 5,000-5,400 and Rs 5,400- 5,500 per quintal respectively.
Masoor small and bold too shed Rs 50 each to Rs 3,550- 3,650 and Rs 3,600-3,750 per quintal. Its dal local and best quality enquired lower by Rs 100 each to Rs 3,600-4,100 and Rs 3,700-4,200 per quintal.
On the other hand, arhar and its dal dara edged up by Rs 50 and Rs 100 to Rs 3,900 and Rs 5,700-7,600 per quintal respectively.
Urad and its dal chilka local inched up by Rs 50 Rs 100 to Rs 4,050-5,700 and Rs 5,100-5,200 per quintal. Its dal best quality and dhoya traded higher by Rs 100 each to Rs 5,200-5,700 and Rs 5,600-5,800 per quintal.
