A man hacked his wife to death and also injured his two daughters late last night at Peddagandlur village of Jammulamadugu mandal in Kadapa district.
Circle inspector Chandrasekhar said Samual (28), resident of ST colony, often fought with his wife Sunitha (24).
On Monday night he attacked her with an axe, killing her on the spot. He also attacked his daughters, who were seriously injured and admitted in Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences here first, and later in Kurnool General Hospital.
Samual was absconding, the officer said.
