Kaiga Generating Station (units 1 and 2) had been selected for the award based on the station's past three year performance, a press statement issued by the Station Director P N Bhat said today.
The award would be presented by Union Power Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde to Site Director J P Gupta and Superintendent of the KGS (1&2), the statement said.
Currently all the four units at Kaiga are operating safely and "reliably" generating 650 MW, the statement added.
