Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said today that the 'Kailash Mansarovar Bhawan' building will come up here in an year and will be a major tourist attraction centre.
The chief minister was speaking at an event at the Kavi Nagar Ramlila Maidan where he laid a symbolic foundation stone of the building for Kailash Mansarovar pilgrims.
Many organisations tried to create hindrances in the construction of the Kailash Mansarovar Bhawan but our government overcame them, Adityanath said adding that the venue of the building was changed and within one year it will be ready for pilgrims.

The state government then purchased a plot of land in Indirapuram for 50 crore and a total amount of Rs 93 crore will be spent on its construction, he said.
Adityanath also said that tourism will be promoted as an industry in Uttar Pradesh.
The state government is working on the pattern of the Centre, for the poor, farmers, and labours without providing any extra privileges to any caste, religion or community, he said.
He said that when India celebrates its 75th year of independence, it will be a super power of the world. Employment will be provided to youth and society will be corruption free while the public will feel secure, Adityanath said.
At the event, several parents succeeded in drawing the attention of chief minister by tying black ribbons around their arms, and through banners and placard, to press their demand of curbing fee hikes by public schools.
He assured the parents that after a report by a committee constituted for fee hike, the government will act against schools.
Parents of Arman Sehgal, deceased student of G D Goenka public school also met the CM and apprised him of the incident of his death and expressed disappointment about the police investigation.
Yogi also assured them that proper action will be taken in the case. Later on he reviewed the functioning of government departments and instructed them to improve work style.
