Tech giant Microsoft has seen strong uptake of 'Kaizala' across sectors like banking and financial services, government and agriculture to help customers connect and collaborate on real-time time basis.

In July last year, the US-based company had launched Kaizala -- a productivity app designed for the Indian market to enable large group communications and work management. It works even on 2G networks.

"Kaizala is being used by thousands of organisations with hundreds of thousands of users in their value chain. And the numbers are growing," Microsoft India Corporate Vice President Rajiv Kumar told PTI.

He cited examples of entities like Yes Bank, Andhra Pradesh government, State Bank of India and Kendriya Vidyalaya Sanghathan (KVS) that are using Kaizala for various purposes.

"...Verticals using Microsoft Kaizala include BFSI, healthcare, government, education, retail, logistics, agriculture and media & entertainment, among others...High uptake (is seen) in BFSI and public sector in India," he noted.

Kumar explained that Yes Bank is using the platform for real-time data collection to track recovery and capture sales leads (B2B), while KVS was using it for staff training and engagement. Apollo Hospitals is using Kaizala to get visibility and control of remote operations and training of nursing staff (B2E).
