Tile maker Kajaria Ceramics today reported a 8.29 per cent decline in its consolidated net profit to Rs 56.95 crore for the second quarter ended September 30.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 62.10 crore during the same period previous fiscal, Kajaria Ceramics said in a regulatory filing.
Total income during the quarter under review stood at Rs 672.36 crore. It was Rs 709.75 crore in the July-September quarter last fiscal.

The company said post Goods and Services Tax implementation, revenue from operations are required to be disclosed net of GST in accordance with the requirements of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS).
Accordingly the revenue from operations are not comparable which are reported inclusive of excise duty.
"In Q2 FY18 tile volume grew by 5 per cent and revenue increased by 7 per cent over the corresponding period in the previous year," Kajaria Ceramics Chairman and MD Ashok Kajaria said.
The shares of the company closed 0.01 per cent up at Rs 684.10 on BSE.
