: Financial technology platform provider Kaleidofin today said it has raised USD 2.8 million (Rs 180 million) in a seed round of investments led by Omidyar Network.
Kaleidofin propels customers toward achieving their life goals by providing tailored financial solutions.
Blume Ventures and individual investors, including Israel-based serial entrepreneur and professor Shlomo Ben-Haim also participated in the round, the city-based company said.
Omidyar Network, is a Silicon Valley based investing firm established by eBay founder, Pierre Omidyar.
"Kaleidofin aims to be the financial advisor for potentially 600 million plus informal sector customer, all delivered in a simple, easy to use mobile application.", Kaleidofin, Founder, Sucharita Mukherjee.

Mukherjee had earlier served IFMR Holdings as its CEO.
Stating that more than 200 million households have no access to formal savings, insurance and investments,Kaleidofin said it seeks to tap this market opportunity through the financial solutions platform.
Kaleidofin partners with best-in-class financial service providers across credit, insurance, savings and investments, it added.
