Kalpataru Net up 23.7pc at Rs 71.49 cr in July-Sept

Kalpataru Power Transmission today posted 23.7 per cent jump in standalone net profit at Rs 71.49 crore in the July-September quarter of 2017-18 on lower finance costs.

The company's standalone net profit was Rs 57.81 crore in the quarter ended on September 30, 2016, Kalpataru Power Transmission Ltd (KPTL) said in a BSE filing today.

Its revenue rose by 7 per cent on yearly basis to Rs 1,223 crore in the quarter.

Finance cost dropped 25.8 per cent in the second quarter compared to year ago period.

It had an order book of Rs 9,620 crore as on September 30, 2017.
 

Manish Mohnot, Managing Director & CEO of KPTL, said, "The first half revenue at the KPTL was temporarily impacted due to the GST related factors. We expect to deliver on our projected growth in excess of 15 per cent for full year."

"We are also confident of achieving our order inflow targets in the range of Rs 7,500 crore to Rs 8,000 crore for the current year at KPTL," Mohnot said.
