Engineering firm Kalpataru Power Transmission (KPTL) today said it has bagged contracts worth Rs 676 crore from various customers.
The company has secured a Rs 237-crore order from Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL) for 400 kV Jauljivi GIS substation, extension of 765 kV Bareilly substation and associated transmission lines, it said in a statement here.
State-run PGCIL has also awarded a contract worth Rs 152 crore for electrification of East Central Railway.

It has received orders for transmission line and supply of transmission towers for Rs 153 crore from various customers, the company said.
KPTL has also secured balance work of plant and utilities contract for LPG import terminal project from BPCL at Haldia for Rs 134 crore.
"Our substation business has got a breakthrough with the success in securing 400kV GIS order from PGCIL. This supports our efforts to grow the substation business.
"Our Railway business continues to build on with the electrification order from PGCIL," KPTL Managing Director and CEO Manish Mohnot said.
He said on the back of a solid order book, the company is confident of delivering on its guidance for 2017-18.
