Kalraj discusses access to finance for MSMEs with South Africa

Union Minister Kalraj Mishra today discussed issues regarding access to finance and other support mechanisms for micro, small and medium enterprises with South Africa's Minister for Small Business Development Lindiwe Zulu here.

The minister also highlighted government's initiatives like zero defect, zero effect (on environment), dubbed ZED, and the National Manufacturing Competitiveness Programme and discussed the potential areas of cooperation between the two countries for growth of their MSME sectors.

ZED denotes high quality manufacturing with a minimal negative impact on environment.

Mishra touched upon the measures taken by the government to improve the ease of doing business in the country. He also outlined that India and South Africa share historic ties.
