"After that his denial is meaningless," Azad said adding "it is up to the party (NC) to decide whether they agree to his statement or not."
The Union Health Minister dismissed Kamaal's denial of statement.
"I think that (denial of Kamaal) is not enough -- that is for them (Omar and Farooq Abdullah) to decide (about the action to be taken against Kamaal for the remark)," Azad told reporters at a function here.
"As I said, he (Kamaal) is uncle of chief minister and brother of Union minister-- they are under test," Azad said.
Accusing India of having rejected a no-war pact with Pakistan and the army of being hurdle in the return of peace in state, NC's additional general secretary Kamaal had said on Sunday that if India continued its stubborn attitude, "it will be our biggest enemy."
However, later, he retracted from the statement saying he was misquoted.
Azad, who arrived here this morning from Delhi to attend three functions in the state, said, "Well I strongly disagree with him (Kamaal), I strongly condemn that statement."
"I have gone through that CD in which he (Kamaal) had clearly said 'I (Kamaal) do not have any hesitation in saying that our enemy is India not Pakistan'," the former JK chief minister said.
"An MLA (Kamaal), official spokesman and that too of the ruling party (NC) and brother of Union minister gives such an anti-national statement-- and they (NC) just ignore it with one word statement -- that is irresponsible statement, I do not think that is enough," Azad said.
