Veteran actor Kamal Haasan, who was recently chosen for the coveted French honour Chevalier award, has responded warmly to Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan's letter of appreciation.

Vijayan had congratulated the four-time National film award winner for being chosen for the French honour. 61-year Kamal Haasan is the second Tamil star after Sivaji Ganesan to be nominated for the honour.
