Kamal Hassan meets Kejriwal

National-Award winning actor Kamal Hassan today met Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal over host of issues, including promoting the film industry, promoting film shoots in the capital besides underscoring the importance of skill development.

The "Vishwaroopam" star, during his two-and-a-half-hour -long meeting with Kejriwal at the Secretariat here, urged the Chief Minister to facilitate the industry in shooting films by making the processes of clearances and permissions easier in the national capital.

Sharing his thought with the visiting actor over promoting the industry and getting more films to be shot in Delhi, Kejriwal said, "It's a job intensive industry and we want more shoots to happen in the capital. We are also planning a film city and a separate body for the industry headed by professionals to make things easier for shoots to happen."
 

The 60-year-old veteran actor also briefed the Chief Minister on the importance of skill development of film workers besides discussing the fast moving technology and various other aspects attached to the industry.
