Congress MP and former Union minister Kamal Nath lauded graduating students of a management institute saying they would be leaders of industrial houses.

"You will be managers and leaders at various industrial houses and you would propound a value system which is firmly engrained in management education philosophy and also daring to go beyond the conventional systems," he said addressing students at the convocation ceremony of Insitute of Management Technonoly (IMT).

Industrialist and MP Rahul Bajaj, who was also present on the occasion, said India's economy is working at a much lower level than its potential. It is your privilege that you will have an opportunity to build it. In our tradition, one is expected to add value to society in the course of one's life. When pursuing your dreams, be mindful of your obligations towards society.

Lyricist Prasoon Joshi expressed his gratitude to IMT for awarding him Special Lifetime IMT Community Award.
