Kangra Central Co-op Bank to open 1st women branch in Jan

Kangra Central Co-operative Bank (KCCB) shall be the first in its sector in Himachal Pradesh to open an all women branch.

"As we have the head quarters in Dharamsala, we shall open the first all women branch here in Depot Bazar locality. This branch shall start functioning from 1st January 2015. We have a plan to open five more such branches in five districts during next year," KCCB Chairman Jagdish Sapehia told PTI.

He said at the moment the bank has 197 branches and 12 extension counters of the bank in state.

Sapehia said, "KCCB is extending its ATM services to the customers of all the banks of India and abroad from 16th of this month".
 

For this service 3,000 ATM cards have already been distributed, he added.
