A kanwariya was today killed after being hit by a jeep on the Lucknow-Delhi Highway in Fareedpur area here, police said.
Rampal Kori (55) was travelling to the Siddh Baba temple when the incident happened.
SP (Rural) Swati Garg said the vehicle has been seized and one person arrested.
Irate locals tried to set the jeep afire but police prevented them from doing so, she added.
