Rapper Kanye West debuted his new music video for "Fade" and addressed his ongoing controversy with Taylor Swift in front of the audience at the MTV VMAs.

The "Famous" rapper, who was nominated for two VMAs said, "I came here to present my new video, but before I do that, Imma talk."

He joked that his "Famous" music video might lose to Beyonce Knowles later at the night, but he wouldn't be upset because he always wanted Beyonce to win.

He went on rambling about other things, including Swift whom he mentions in his "Famous" and he's feuding with.

"It was an expression of our now, our fame right now, us on the inside of the TV, you know, the audacity to put Anna Wintour right next to Donald Trump," he said about the controversial music video.

"I put Ray J in it bro," he added, referring to his wife Kim Kardashian's ex with whom she did a sex tape.

"But if you think about last week it was 22 people murdered in Chicago," he continued.

"You know, people come up to me like, 'Man, that's right! Take, tell Taylor this. Bro, like I love all y'all. That's why I called her."

He also gave a shout-out to his ex Amber Rose, who was in attendance and talked about his role models, before unveiling his new music video.

The "Fade" visuals features Teyana Taylor dancing to West's song in what looks like a gym. The rapper himself is not featured in the steamy video.

Last year at the award show, the rapper - who just kicked off his Saint Pablo tour - announced that he "decided in 2020 to run for president," as he accepted the Video Vanguard Award.
