Rapper Kanye West scared singer Beck and the audience at the Grammy, when he pretended to interrupt his acceptance speech while he receiving the best rock album of the year honour.

West, 37, nearly recreated the famous 'Taylor Swift' moment from MTV Video Music Video Awards that happened six years ago, reported Us magazine.

The rapper had embarrassed Swift while she was accepting her VMA for Best Female Video for 'You Belong With Me', after beating out his friend Beyonce's 'Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It').

"Yo Taylor, I'm really happy for you, I'll let you finish, but Beyonce has one of the best videos of all time. One of the best videos of all time!" West had shouted to the audience while Swift was left mortified onstage.

While West mock interrupted Beck, Jay Z was caught looking horrified until he realised his friend was only joking.

Even Beyonce (a losing contender in the same album of the year category) was spotted mouthing "Oh my god!" before erupting into laughter.
