An Army recruitment rally which started at Guru Nanak Stadium in Kapurthala in Jalandhar Cantonment area last Saturday would continue till November 21.
The rally is for candidates of the Districts of SBS Nagar, Kapurthala, Hoshiarpur and Jalandhar, a defence spokesperson said here today.
"Due to heavy presence of candidates from Hoshiarpur District screening for that area is being done on Tehsil basis with Dasuya on November 15 and Mukerian on November 17," he said.

Successful candidates are undergoing medical examination by Army Doctors before appearing for written entrance exam, he said.
Brigadier J S Samyal, Deputy Director General Recruiting (Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir), informed that candidates are being screened for their physical and medical fitness.
"Over 12,000 candidates have already appeared in the rally. Approximately 1,100 candidates have been screened on November 14 from the district of Jalandhar, 2400 candidates from Dasuya Tehsil, 2,600 candidates of Hoshiarpur and Garhshankar Tehsil, 5,000 candidates of Mukerian Tehsil," he said.
"Today over 1,700 candidates from SBS Nagar District have attended the rally," Brigadier Samyal said, adding "The rally has seen good response and motivated participation from the candidates."
More than 17,000 candidates are expected to participate in the rally, he added.
Special efforts were being made to make all candidates understand that the recruitment process is fully transparent and automated, Brigadier Samyal added.
