"This film is very different from the earlier ones. I have worked with movie stars and they don't need hand holding. With these three newcomers I was nurturing, parenting them. It was an emotional journey," Johar told reporters here during the first look of the film.
The movie which has been co-produced by Shah Rukh Khan is scheduled to be released on October 19.
"I am sure the newcomers' parents would also be going through same emotions as I am. It is a very special feeling. It is a satisfying emotion," he said, unveiling the first trailer of the movie here today,
The film will be Johar's return to direction after a gap of two years.
"I feel this is a holiday film for me after 'My Name is Khan'. I personally felt I needed to do something where I could have fun. I like dance, song, glamour and emotions off course. I remember while doing this song 'Sajda' from 'My Name is Khan' we could not do lip synch. So in this film, I have made all of them sing and dance," he said.
