Karda Constructions shares tank nearly 21% in debut trade

Shares of Karda Constructions tumbled nearly 21 per cent over the issue price of Rs 180 in the debut trade today.

The stock listed at Rs 136, a discount of 24.44 per cent from the issue price on BSE. During the day, the stock touched a high of Rs 142.80 and a low of Rs 136. Shares of the company finally ended at Rs 142.80, down 20.66 per cent.

At NSE, the stock tanked 20.66 per cent to close at Rs 142.80.

In terms of equity volume, 2.54 lakh shares of the company were traded on BSE and over 10 lakh shares changed hands at NSE during the day.

 

The company's market valuation stood at Rs 175.64 crore at close of trade.

The company's Rs 77.40-crore IPO issue was open during March 16-21, 2018 and was subscribed 2.53 times, according to the data available with the BSE.

Price band for the offer was fixed at Rs 175-180.
