Karnataka Government has incurred an expenditure of about Rs 21.56 lakh over usage of mobile and landline phones by ministers in the last one year, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said today.
There was no limit for the Chief Minister and ministers on using landline phone facilities, he said while replying to a question by Gopalaiah (JDS) in the state Assembly.
He also said there is no limit on the Chief Minister to use the mobile phone, but ministers have a cap of Rs 5,000 per month.
Gopalaiah sought an answer from the government on the expenditure incurred by ministers on the usage of mobile and landline phones.
