Karnataka minister meets UAE officials to boost cooperation

Seeking to enhance cooperation between Karnataka and the UAE in education and heath sectors, a delegation from the state has visited the Gulf nation.

The delegation headed by state's Health and Family Welfare minister U T Khader visited the country to explore the ways to strengthen bilateral ties in the areas of medical training, teaching and nursing.

Khader met Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of the UAE's emirate of Ajman, UAE's WAM news agency reported.

Ammar welcomed the Indian minister and the delegation accompanying him, hoping that the visit would boost cooperation activities in all fields as well as benefiting from Indian expertise, it said.
 

They also discussed implementation of joint projects between Emirati and Indian businessmen in different medical sectors.
