Karnataka win sub-jr both boys and girls National Ch'ship

All the four finalists have qualified from South Zone for the Sub-Junior Boys and Girls National Championship to be held at Rohtak from November 1-7.

In the boys' final, Karnataka trounced Kerala 8-0 while in the girls match, the scoreline was 8-2.

In the Mohammad Raheel topped the score list for Karnataka in the boys match with four goals (14th, 40th, 44th and 46th minute), followed by Harshith Aiyamma (11th minute), K. P Somaiah (16th minute), Machaiah (47th minute) and Prithviraj (51st minute).

In girls summit clash, Karnataka scored through Sindhu (3rd and 13th minute), Amulya (10th minute), Sandhya (34th minute), Chaitra (36th minute), Soundarya (39th and 40th minute) and Ruchitha (43rd minute).
