Former PDP MP Tariq Hameed Karra, who joined the Congress a few days ago, met Leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha Ghulam Nabi Azad in New Delhi and batted for "realignment" of secular forces in Jammu and Kashmir.
Karra, who was a founder member of the PDP, had resigned from the party and as an MP and joined the Congress in presence Rahul Gandhi on February 18.
He spoke to Azad for three hours and discussed various issues pertaining to political situation in in Jammu and Kashmir and organisational matters of the state Congress, party sources said.

He said discussions also took place about prospects of the Congress in the state and the rest of the country.
