DMK President M Karunanidhi has congratulated Tamil superstar Rajinikanth for being chosen for Padma Vibushan award.
"DMK President (M Karunanidhi) congratulated and conveyed his special wishes to Rajinikanth over phone for being selected for Padma Vibhushan", a party statement said.
Karunanidhi is currently on a two-day visit to Tiruvarur, his home constituency.
