Ruling out the possibility of more parties in the alliance led by it, DMK chief M Karunanidhi tonight said the party manifesto and the list of candidates for the Lok Sabha polls would be released "very soon".

There is no space for any new political party in the alliance led by DMK, Karunanidhi told reporters here.

DMK had been openly wooing the DMDK, headed by actor-politician Vijaykant, for an alliance, but the latter was yet to make clear his choice.

Karunanidhi said the party manifesto would be released in two days.

A committee would be formed to discuss the candidates and their constituencies, he said.

To a query whether the party would field new faces in the polls, he said, "The list of contesting candidates will be released soon. After looking into it, you will get the answer."

On Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa's remarks at the AIADMK poll campaign at Kancheepuram that the 2G scam was spearheaded by DMK, Karunanidhi said, "I think she has forgotten about disproportionate assets case (against her) in Bangalore.
