In a telegram to Chandrababu, who was conducting a foot march in Mahbubnagar district today, the former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu said, "I have come to know that you have developed severe back pain due to a fall at a public function. Please take sufficient rest and take utmost care of your health."

Chandrababu had sustained a minor injury to his back when the dais from which he addressed a public meeting at Gadwal collapsed on October 26.

After the incident, the former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister suspended his ongoing "Vastunna Meekosam" foot march for a day as he developed severe back pain but has been continuing it for the past two days and walking at least 10 km a day.

The Leader of Opposition in AP Assembly launched his foot march on October 2, which is scheduled to end on the Republic Day.
