English band 'Kasabian' have lashed out at the music industry for promoting singer Miley Cyrus in a wrong way.

The band said that the 21-year-old star has been presented in sexualised image by the industry only to mint money out of it, reported Contactmusic.

"I don't really know what that world is, man. It's just a money making thing. We (the music industry) created Miley Cyrus, man, that's our fault," said Serge Pizzorno, Guitarist of the band.

Pizzorno also claimed that 'Wrecking Ball' singer is a nightmare of the 21st century.

"She's just an accumulation of internet porn, hip-hop, Disney world. She's just a nightmare of the 21st century. It's not her fault, but we created that. The way she goes about her business, Twitter, it blows my mind," he added.

Cyrus has drawn flakes for a string of controversial performances last year.
