Kashmir drug peddler arrested

An alleged drug peddler was today arrested following recovery of contraband substance from his possession in Anantnag district of south Kashmir, police said.

Sanaullah Wagay, a resident of Chanigam village, was arrested by a police party from Aishmuqam, 70 kms from here, on specific information, a police spokesman said.

He said 900 grams of bhang powder and half kilo of charas was recovered from him.

A case has been registered against him and investigation has been taken up, the spokesman said.
