"He was summoned and being interrogated in connection of both the cases in Gandhinagar in Gujarat," a CBI spokesperson said.
According to sources, Kataria was in Udaipur when he was summoned.
Kataria was the state home minister in the erstwhile BJP government headed by Vasundhara Raje.
