Kazakhstan seeks expansion of cooperation between universities

: Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Republic of Kazakhstan to India Bulat Sarsenbayev today discussed the expansion of cooperation between the universities of the two nations.

Sarsenbayev was on a visit to Bharathiar University here and interacted with faculty and students on cooperation in the education field, as well as the possibility or organising mutual visits.

He spoke of the contribution of the President of Kazakhstan N Nazarbayev to the development of the nation, as well as its innovative and industrial strategies and reforms that enabled Kazakhstan achieve such impressive successes in a short time, a release said.

The Ambassador also focused on projects and major events held by Kazakhstan as ATOM (Abolish Testing Out Mission) project, Shanghai Cooperation Organisation Summit and Organisation of Islamic Cooperation.
 

He discussed in detail the international specialised exhibition EXPO-2017, the release said.

Accompanied by Suraj Shantakumar, Director, Kirtilals Jewellery and Honorary Consul of Kazhakstan, Sarsenbayev responded to public interest queries on Kazhakhstan and its history, raised by students.
