: The former Principal of Maharaja's College Dr Mary Matilda and her students gave a splendid feel of heart-warming music to the patients at the Government General Hospital today as part of the "Arts and Medicine" project being organised by the Kochi Biennale Foundation (KBF).

The 26th programme of the KBF's Art and Medicine was inaugurated by former Superintendent of Police Martin K Jose. 'Ernakulam Government General Hospital is now a role model for all hospitals in Kerala as they are giving music as medicine to the patients', said Dr Mary Matilda.

Prof I K Jayadev, Head of the Department of Islamic History at Maharaja's, sang Omanapuzhakadapurathinomaleponnomale. The team belted out a number of other old Malayalam melodies.
