Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao left for New Delhi this evening to attend the interstate council meeting convened by Prime Minister Narendra Modi tomorrow, a senior official said.
Rao may meet half-a-dozen Union Ministers to take up issues related to bifurcation of institutions listed in Schedule X of the AP State Reorganisation Act, bifurcation of the High Court and the recent strike by advocates and suspension of judges and necessary environmental clearances for various projects coming up in the state, the official said.
Rao may also take up issues of water dispute between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana with the Ministry of Water Resources, the official said, adding he may take up the issue of raising FRBM (Fiscal Responsibility and Budget Management) limit.
